Second BPO campus by Infosys in Jaipur

In what could turn out to be a real blessing for the state of Rajasthan, Infosys has opened its second BPO campus in the special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This would help Rajasthan a long way in providing opportunities to young people in outsourcing industry.
With a seating capacity of 3,200, the new campus offers huge opportunities to young professionals to join outsourcing industry, which continues to rise across the world, and India being the leader in providing outsourcing services. As per the details, the new campus at Mahindra World City, Jaipur, is to spread over 42 acres with a total investment of Rs. 531 crore, which will be spent in multiple phases. The first plan itself got an investment of Rs. 171 crore and the company.
Some recent reports are showing that India may face a back-lash of work-force in outsourcing industry due to the poor facilities that are prevalent to groom young graduates for the industry needs. This is where Infosys is also putting some efforts in order to ensure that when young graduates leave school, they are ready to be absorbed by the industry.
It is clear that with this new BPO campus, Rajasthan people will have greater chances of reaping the benefits of outsourcing industry. It can also be estimated that if all the companies follow the lead of Infosys in building eco-friendly and industry-standard green buildings, more and more international companies will be looking to outsource their business as with the compliance of international standards and demands.
