Genpact Limited was recognized by Everest Group as the leading Finance and Accounting Outsourcing (FAO) in the research institute’s reports ‘Procurement Outsourcing (PO) Annual Report April 2011’ and ‘Finance and Accounting Outsourcing Annual Report March 2011.’ Genpact is a worldwide leader in tech management and business process.

In the FAO category, Everest found that Genpact stood out because of its strong growth in both renewals and new agreement contracts. This includes the U.S. along with more investments in the company’s Smart Enterprise Processes structure.

Everest’s report also highlighted Genpact as a FAO Market Star Performer in 2010 for the finance and accounting offerings and a spike in year ago figures.

Everest Group’s VP, Saurabh Gupta, said in a statement, “Genpact is an established FAO market leader on Everest’s PEAK matrix and is now emerging as a major contender in the PO space. Our concept of ‘Market Star Performers’ helps to identify the service providers with maximum year-over-year advancements across market success and delivery capability. Genpact earned the status of 2010 Star Performer in both FAO and PO markets due to its top quartile performance for overall spending, continued expansion of global delivery footprint, and investments in building process and technology capabilities in these markets. Genpact’s success in both F&A and procurement also suggests the growing overlap between the two markets,” reports Businesswire.

Meanwhile, the Everest PO findings revealed that Genpact stood above more than 15 PO vendors in the category – Major Contender. The report also stated that the company’s programs like SEP and multiprocess customer wins spiked the delivery capacities in China and Romania. Genpact is also a leader in the PO business because of its contracts, key advancements in capabilities, new technology partnerships and annual contract growth.
