Westborough, MA, Feb 25, 2010 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) — Advans, a solution provider and IT consulting firm, has announced today, the results of a survey that highlight the growing popularity of domestic outsourcing. According to the Advans’ IT Outsourcing Survey, 75 percent of executives prefer outsourcing domestically rather than offshore. Additionally, the survey found that 37 percent of executives were interested in additional outsourcing of at least some IT functions in the next 12 months. DALLAS, February 25, 2010 ─ The Finance and Accounting Outsourcing (FAO) market in 2010 is expected to resume a growth trajectory more similar to pre-recessionary levels, moving towards 20 percent and reach nearly US$3.7 million in annual contract volume (ACV), according to the Finance & Accounting Outsourcing Annual Report 2010 by Everest, a global consulting and research firm. Annual ACV growth slowed to 11 percent in 2009, as compared to 20-plus percent growth rates in 2006-2008, according to the study. The FAO market reached US$3.1 billion in annual spending (ACV) last year, representing about US$24 billion in total FAO spending. Read more
